Marble Music

I found this marble conveyor belt machine and was at first simply intrigued by the mechanical design of it, but the real beauty is in the music it plays. It is a large musical invention made by the folktronica band, Wintergatan. When the marbles transition, they interact with materials that create a sound. The marbles flow through a very long path, all starting at the same spot, meaning the sounds increase and add depth as the time passes as the marbles progress. Definitely worth a listen a couple of minutes in!
