We have been thinking about pixels and space a lot recently, and this piece from a collaboration of artists at the Stenograffia graffiti festival in Russia, really caught my eye. The project involved creating an illusion of transparency and deletion of graffiti by using the famous grey and white pixels that symbolize absence of space in the digital world. This feat would be extremely easy with masking through Adobe, but they instead used a projector and painted the pixels on the subjects, a tough feat to maintain perspective in 3D.
