“Now Ear This”

Author Rachel Levels listened to Geoff Sobelle’s Hear Their There Here, an interactive sound piece that weaves together an audio experience of the park, as she walked through Brooklyn Bridge Park. As she walked through the park, she noticed that she focused more on the things that were in the audio. For example, when she heard bird calls in the audio, she was able to notice more birds around her. This shows the importance of audio in art as people experience and notice different things based off of audio and sound.
