Over Winter Break, I visited the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum in New York City with my family. I really enjoyed all of the exhibits that I saw there that day, but one piece that particularly caught my eye was this poster for a French production of an American in Paris created by Philippe Apeloig, a French designer, in 2014. The way that Apeloig shaped the words of the show title into an Eiffel Tower image, combined with the incorporation of bright colors, made the poster really engaging and inviting. As someone who really enjoys graphic design and creating posters like this, it was really cool to see this modern piece of artwork up in the museum.
